Welcome 7th Street MotelThe 7th Street Motel is a family operated Motel, was first established in 1979 and commenced trading the same year with six units. A further five units were built in 1983 which included two large family units, making a total of eleven. This gave a good mix of style and size for the traveller of the day. In June 2000, the Motel established its partnership with the 'Welcome Motor Inns' chain, of which it is still a part of today.
Ian, Deb and family have a strong community background, only recently moving to Mildura from South Australia . Ian's business management skills with Coorong District Council, and Deb's finance/administration/information technology abilities with the Department of Education, Training & Employment can only complement each other. Whilst living in the one community for so long, their commitment and dedication to many different community facets, ensured they didn't keep their feet on the floor too long. From the SA Ambulance Service as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer, to Project Officer and Steering Committee for the Coonalpyn Lifelong Learning Hub, to executive/coaching positions on many sporting bodies. Their strong will to provide quality service ensures every effort is made to accommodate guests comfortably and hassle free. |
